Erin’s Story

"When I first met the Lincoln team, they kept encouraging me to come work in the neighborhood. I was hesitant. The idea of working on houses that were nearly 100 years old felt like a big challenge, and I wasn't sure I was the right person for it. But they kept telling me to take the opportunity and trust the process. Eventually I decided to step into it, and I'm grateful that I did.

Since coming to Lincoln, I've experienced God's presence in a way that feels different from anywhere else I've ever been. There is a peace here that is hard to describe but easy to feel. I also love being able to bring my team to work alongside the Lincoln staff and serve the residents who are working to get back on their feet. By helping with projects and keeping building costs as low as possible, we can stretch resources further so more houses can be built and more tamilies can have a place to call home.

I feel blessed to be part of what God is doing at Lincoln."
