| August 2006 Looking for our first business profile The "2005 Lincoln Village Profile" noted that there were more than 140 firms with over 750 workers based in Lincoln Village. That Profile goes on to note there were ten eating spots, six law offices, four marketing firms, a half dozen health industry businesses, several branches of county departments and various real estate offices, mortgage firms and property management companies within the Lincoln Village boundaries. In addition to those businesses, the profile also noted there was a DHL Express call center, a grocery store and several specialty markets. A new Lincoln Village Profile will be released this autumn. It will include Hi-Tech Institute this year, as well as a new state agency found on Lincoln Village Drive. There will also be note of some non-profit firms who moved here during the year. To help folks in Lincoln Village know more about what business is being transacted here, and the types of folks who work here, this website page will look at a different business on a rotating bases. The format of each profile will vary, depending on the type of business being profiled. For example, a profile of one of our eating spots may be in the form of a review of their menu and service, while a law firm's profile may be presented as a Q and A with the partners. We'll try to do a fair cross section of businesses, not just the largest employers or the most locally active. We'd also like your help and suggestions about that firms to profile. If your business is based in Lincoln Village, or does work here, and you are willing to be profiled on this site, then drop us a note at Admin@LincolnVillage.org |
