| September 2006 Update on The Landing (formerly called Bradshaw Landing) After months of silence, LVNA has learned the Revised Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the updated plan has been released and will soon be reviewed by the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. The new EIR can be viewed here. |

This is a large document (so be prepared for the download to take some time.) LVNA is asking for a representative of the developer to come and share their new vision with us. We will also post the date and time for the Board of Supervisors' review, as soon as that is made public. |

| Bradshaw Landing Representatives from Sy West Development and its parent, Syufy Enterprises, meet with LVNA members on April 12th and presented an update on their Bradshaw Landing retail complex. This 40-acre property between Bradshaw Road and the Franchise Tax Board, just north of US50, is currently the site of a drive-in movie complex. Under the plans being developed by Sy West, the new retail complex would have a multi-screen theater able to seat up to 3,800 people. The complex would also be home to five restaurants and eight or nine upscale stores. Plans for a "big box" store at the complex have been dropped. The restaurants would be grouped in a circle around a fountain on the south-central side of the area. The movie house would be on the edge nearest Bradshaw and the other shops on the western part of the complex. No firm deals have been announced, but letters have been exchanged with the likes of Elephant Bar, Claim Jumper, California Pizza Kitchen, Old Navy, Borders, Barnes and Nobles, and TJ Max. Oates Drive would become a tree lined avenue, bending into the center of the complex and then heading west to the FTB campus. A shuttle bus would be available in peak hours for those wishing to use the light-rail via the Butterfield Station. |
